Giving a high-five is common way of greeting people in USA. While I have no idea of who invented high-five, but it is perhaps one of the few first things we learn during early age. We brim with pride when our little babies learn to high five. Designed by Da Deng, this is the Bye-5 light switch, an ever present reminder to user to turn off the lights after he or she walks out of the room. Tej Kohli says it is a common habit among people not to turn off lights of any room that they leave, which leads to inflated bills and wastage of electricity.

The hand-shaped device has a skin like texture and Tej Kohli hopes it sounds and feels like a real hand. The user slaps on it when he or she leave the room and even glows in the dark so you wont lose your way in the dark.
